Nick Warren Remixes Shiloh's Cafe Del Mariachi
M8 Magazine Review
".Baroque's Bad Boys, Shiloh, come full tilt on this guest appearance for Hope Recordings. The original builds energetically around what can only be described as a distant twisted fairground organ, glacial melodies and a fast ping ponging rubber bassline and finally peaks reminiscent of a track from Frankfurt's Eye Q label, for those old enough to remember them. Interesting to describe and impossible to stand still to. Nick Warren who is quickly making a name for himself for his solo projects whilst Way Out West are on hiatus has managed to take out a lot of the light and deliver a proper dark twitching stripped back monster"

Nick Warren mixes another Global Underground compilation
According to his MySpace page, Nick Warren is currently working on another Global Underground compilation - which will be his seventh for the acclaimed series.
"GU 030 - Paris" will be inspired by Warren's DJ set from Mix Club in Paris where he's scheduled to play on October 14, 2006.
His previous Global Underground releases include 003 - Prague, 008 - Brazil, 011 - Budapest, 018 - Amsterdam, 024 - Reykjavik and 028 - Shanghai.
Nick Warren became one of the first so-called "superstar DJs" in the mid- to late '90s, holding down a high-profile residency at Cream in England, touring around the world, and appearing on several DJ mix albums before they became commonplace. Though he spun an eclectic array of dance styles in the late '80s and early '90s, he eventually championed the late-'90s trance sound of labels like Hooj Choons and joined the ranks of other superstar DJs like Paul Oakenfold, Sasha, and Tall Paul. Furthermore, he dabbled a bit in production, collaborating with Jody Wisternoff as Way Out West.

Shanghai Suprise!
After we thought Nick Warren put the GU compilations to bed with his seminal GU024 Rekjavik "This is my last GU compilation", everyone has been suprised with his return to the GU label. But what a return, this showcases a darker edge to Nick Warren's sound, taking influences from ambient, house, techno and progressive. Disc 1 is a slice of genius, always building and never slowing with Disc 2 just tearing the roof off.
Expect music from Holden & Thompson, Way Out West, Lustral and 303 classic Hardfloor - Acperience.
RELEASED JULY.
TBC.
